More no brainer list nonsense - this time from Q magazine, via this Wikipedia article.
I've seen 10 out of the 50, which bearing in mind several are DJs (hmm, stretching the concept of 'band') and several others are dead, I reckon is not too bad. Out of the Top 10, I've seen Kraftwerk, the Pogues and The Fall. Would love to have seen AC/DC or The Who...

I've seen two of them - The Who and AC/DC. I didn't actually see AC/DC as such, but sat outside their stadium gig in Hannover with a crate of beer. I think that counts. I could count the number of other acts on that list that I'd want to see pretty much on the fingers on one hand. I'd gnaw off my arm rather than see some of them - Tony Bennett, all of the DJs, and what the hell is "Folktronic" anyway? It sounds awful.
"Folktronic" is clearly a combination of "animatronic" and "folk". It's robots playing fiddles and growing beards. You're right, it sounds awful, but it's no worse than the music in "Bagpuss".
Blimey - when did you see Fela Kuti? Glastonbury?
