It must have been fantastic to see Alex Harvey in his pomp!
I know very little about Jacques Brel, but I love the cover versions of his songs by Scott Walker, Bowie, and the aforementioned Mr Harvey amngst many others.
'Next' is wonderfully filthy, a hilarious cautionary tale to take to one's grubby bosom...

Ah, Jacques Brel. One of those people you know you should know more about, but then realise that, not understanding French, it's probably hopeless, because some smartarse will always remind you how much you lose in translation. Great Alex Harvey performance though. The guitarist in white face makeup, the bouffant drummer with shorts and roadie t-shirt. It could only be the '70's.
